2014 FIFA World Cup Qualification
The 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA#Structure, FIFA confederations. The 2014 FIFA World Cup featured 32 teams, with one place reserved for the host nation, Brazil national football team, Brazil. The remaining 31 places were determined by a qualification process, in which the other 207 teams, from the six FIFA confederations, competed. Most of the successful teams were determined within these confederations, with a limited number of inter-confederation play-offs occurring at the end of the process. Kunming
Kunming (; ), also known as Yunnan-Fu, is the capital and largest city of Yunnan province, China. Tuodong Stadium
The Tuodong Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Kunming, China. The stadium is located at 99 Dongfeng East Road and it opened in 1958. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 35,000 people. Tuodong Sports Center is located in downtown center of Kunming City at the elevation of 1,891m and occupying 5.4 ha. Tuodong Sports Centre is one of the major sports centers in Yunnan province and Kunming City for physical training and various types of races and contests. The stadium is equipped with glass fiber-reinforced plastic chairs that can accommodate 35,000 people. The football field in the center is of international standard at 105 x 68 m and surrounded by 8 plastic tracks. Aleksandar Đurić ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Ђурић; born 12 August 1970) is a Singaporean former professional footballer who serves as the principal for Sport Singapore and the ActiveSG Football Academy. He has played in the Singapore Cosmopolitan Football League, a top amateur football league in Singapore for SCC First prior to his retirement from professional football. Yu Hai
Yu Hai (; ; born 4 June 1987) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League. Club career Yu Hai started his football career with Shaanxi Chanba in the 2004 season and he made his debut for the club on 16 May 2004 in a 2–2 draw against Qingdao Etsong. Despite predominantly playing as a substitute throughout the season, he played a significant part in Shaanxi's third-place finish at the end of the season. Zheng Zhi (; born 20 August 1980) is a Chinese professional footballer and manager who played most of his career for Chinese Super League club Guangzhou F.C., becoming their captain and serving also as their caretaker manager in two stints. After starting his career as a defender, Zheng was later moved into a central midfield role by then head coach Zhu Guanghu at Shenzhen Jianlibao and experienced immediate success there by winning the 2004 league title with the club.
